The bluffing one, for 2 to 7 — you might know it as Bullshit. You lay cards face down and say what they are. You don't have to be telling the truth. Anyone can call it.
- One pack, no jokers, dealt right out — some of you get one more than the others. That's fine.
- The player left of the dealer goes first.
- The table says what you have to claim. Twos first, then threes, fours … kings, aces, and round to twos again. You don't pick the rank; you pick the cards.
- Lay one to four cards face down, one at a time, then tap Claim: "three sevens". Whether they're sevens is your business.
- Play passes to the next seat, who has to claim the next rank up.
- From a claim until the next seat lays its first card, anyone else at the table can tap Cheat!
- The cards are turned over for everyone to see. A lie: the claimer picks up the whole pile. The truth: the caller picks it up.
- Either way, play goes on from the seat after the claimer, at the next rank.
- Claim your last cards and you're out — if the claim stands: the next seat lays (nobody called it), or someone calls it and you were telling the truth. Caught, you take the pile and you're back in.
- The first out wins and the game's over. Everyone else is placed by the cards left in their hand, fewest first. The winner takes the crown.
On the felt: the pile in the middle shows its count and the last claim ("Annie: 3 sevens"); tap cards then Claim on your go; Cheat! sits there for everyone else while a claim is open. A called claim is turned over in the feed for all to see. If someone leaves mid-game the rest play on around their seat.
