The app, step by step. The rules are on their own page; this is what you'll see and what to tap.
Someone deals a game and picks Spades at the top of New game — exactly four names; the 1st and 3rd are a pair, the 2nd and 4th the other. Say Deal me in; the table deals itself when everyone has answered.
Across the top: both pairs' scores and bags. Each seat's bid and tricks this hand sit on its own line below. Your partner sits across from you. Scores opens the whole game so far.
When it's your bid, pills 0 to 13 appear under your hand. 0 is nil — take nothing and it's worth 100. Tap one, then Bid.
Tap a card in your hand, then Play. If a suit was led and you hold it, the rest sits dim. Spades sit dim as a lead until one has been played on another suit. Take the trick and you lead the next.
When the last trick is taken the feed says what each pair made — 10 a trick bid, 1 a bag, the nils, and any bag penalty — and the next hand is dealt straight away.
When a pair reaches 500 the results card comes up: the winning pair first, then the other, and the crown on both of the winning pair. Rematch deals the same table again, same pairs.
